Room Bookings

Programme rooms are available for public use at the 100 Mile House, Williams Lake, and Quesnel Area Branches. A summary of the Room Booking Policy can be found below. Please review this summary before contacting your local branch to discuss availability and scheduling. To read the full policy, visit our Policies page.

Room Booking Guidelines:

The room is available free of charge for non-profit, volunteer and support groups. The rooms are meant for organizations who need a space to hold public meetings and free events. Bookings may be made up to 3 months in advance, no more than 4 bookings per month.

Availability is subject to library programming, events, and training. If a special event is organized for the library when a group has booked the room, they will be notified with as much time as possible.

The Programme Room needs to be returned to the state it was found prior to the booking. Any refreshments served should be limited to beverages and light snacks.

A group representative needs to sign in with library staff when they arrive for their booking.

Consider set-up and take-down time when filling in your requests. The Area Librarian or Branch Assistant will contact you to confirm your requested dates, times, and the number of tables and chairs needed, and any other equipment that may be available.
